Yes Jeff, this was a nasty fight and I am sure blood was lost, although minor. Mom was watching them carefully and she would not allow it to go too far. Thank you.

Yes, Yearlings fight a lot harder than first year cubs. Mom was watching very closely. Some say it is body posture alone. Mind you I have heard them grunt loudly when angry with a cub.
